We believe that we go to a great deal of effort to ensure that all our existing clients know everything about us and that we keep them fully aware of how we represent their interests in the UK insurance market.
We also believe that all our clients enjoy regular and clear lines of communication and are safe in the knowledge that we are only a phone call away from assisting them with any query they may have.
We would also like to welcome new clients to d2 and have detailed below what we believe will be a helpful insight as to whether or not d2 may represent a different approach to your insurances.
We have many clients who have benefited from moving to d2 and are happy for them to share with you their experiences if it is helpful.
and here are d2 answers:
Does your broker carry sufficient weight to get the best deals, do they have the resource to understand your industry sector with the knowledge that is required or is the danger that they are ignoring your business in the pursuit of bigger clients. Do you even know if they have access to all the markets that may be available to you.
You may not know this but many insurers do not even give your business the time of day. The common problems are; frequently companies build up a reputation for submitting poor and inadequate information; and/or they send their business to the market every year but never move insurers (would you quote a customer every year never to win their business?) Make sure you get a copy of the submission your broker sends to the market!
We take it as read that most brokers will cover the basics, although we know from time to time that this can even be missed, but do they discuss the one big gap in cover that is frequently left, insuring your key people. Loss of key people whilst we appreciate is a difficult and sad thought, is another risk that needs to be protected. It can cost you tens of thousands of pounds if not hundreds of thousands. Crucial protection for your business that just should not be ignored.
Have you actually ever asked your broker to properly justify how they assure you that they are or even have the capability of delivering in these areas. Ask them you may be startled at their response. If you do not get the right answers it may cost you dearly.
